Being recently addicted to the hit TV show – The Big Bang Theory – I discovered a whole new dimension to being nerdy. Traditionally speaking, being nerdy wouldn’t carry a positive connotation to most people. However, with the not-so-favourable-protagonist Sheldon Cooper, it has been proven that particle physics, comic cons, video games, and other “nerdy” stereotypical things can interlace with the “real world” quite nicely.

As a comedy, of course the show had its exaggeration on many parts, however, it does bring out a point that nerds doesn’t necessarily equates to antisocial and society outcast…Finding myself relating immensely to Sheldon Cooper, it brings me to a realization that maybe a lot of us are secretly a super-nerd inside! What I mean is that, everyone would have some expertise in some field among the many subjects explored by humankind on Earth, and to a certain extent, we can always talk (whether verbally or telepathically) on and on and on and on and on…well, you get the idea…about it!

The Big Bang Theory can bring so much entertainment when I need something amusing to laugh at because I’ve just screw up my school life…again; Orz. Anywho, totally recommending this show to anyone who is in for a real laugh, depressed, bored and also…secretly nerdy!
